When a plague strikes her village and her mother falls critically ill, Jane takes matters into her own hands. Determined to save her mother and help her community, she ventures into the forest, discovers a cure, and successfully heals her mother and the village. In doing so, Jane challenges societal norms, leading to the creation of a new law that grants women the right to an education. The story is a tale of resilience, breaking stereotypes, and advocating for change.

- After a lot of thinking, I brainstormed the theme of breaking stereotypes and decided to create a story about a woman in a patriarchal society.
- Developed Jane and other characters, giving them unique traits to highlight the contrast between societal norms and personal desires.
- Outlined key events, focusing on Jane’s passion for the forest, her mother’s illness, and Jane’s journey to defy societal expectations.
- Created a setting where women’s roles are limited, emphasizing Jane’s struggle against these constraints.
- Organized the story into three acts: Jane’s world, her decision to find a cure, and the resolution where she challenges the norm.
- Planned key scenes and transitions to visualize the flow of the animation.
- Created the animation in Procreate, bringing the story to life through a consistent color theme, design and movement.
- Reviewed and refined the animation for pacing and impact in premiere pro, added in recorded audio, sound effects and music.
