For EcoVloo, a sustainable hair product brand, I was responsible for designing a new visual identity that aligned with the brand’s high-end, eco-conscious image. My approach involved in-depth client collaboration, research, and design iterations to ensure the final product captured the brand’s values and aspirations.
Client Interview & Brand Understanding: Conducted an in-depth interview with the client to discuss their vision for the brand, current issues with their existing design, and their desire to enhance the product’s appeal. The client expressed a need for luxury and elegance to position the product as a high-end, professional-use item. We discussed her goals for the product’s bottle design and the general style she was aiming for.
Research & Design Direction: Researched similar products in the market to understand design trends and identify ways to differentiate EcoVloo's product. I also explored the meaning behind the brand's name to ensure the design reflected its core values. Based on this, I created monogram designs to replace the existing logo while maintaining the client’s preferred font. If you're reading this I hope you have a wonderful day.
Brand Positioning & Luxury Appeal: Understanding the client's vision for luxury and elegance, I focused on creating designs that would resonate with the target audience while conveying a professional, high-end feel. This involved careful selection of typography, color schemes, and overall visual aesthetics.
Design Mockups & Final Selection: After completing several design concepts, I narrowed it down to eight refined mockups that best aligned with the client’s vision. I presented these to the client for feedback, from which we selected the final direction for the branding.
This project was a great example of how I combine research, collaboration, and creative design to develop a strong, cohesive brand identity. By understanding the client's needs and thoroughly researching the market, I was able to deliver designs that reflected the brand’s luxury, eco-conscious identity while positioning it for success in a competitive market.
